And…the core creative, the main concept of the game that’s a very bland open world co-op shooter that barely supports co-op, was not going to change with another delay. I do find it interesting that Spencer inadvertently touches on something that I’ve said through all this, that I don’t think a delay would have fixed all that much, as he says the “core creative” wouldn’t have changed. But it’s kind of stunning to hear him be this frank about the failures of the game, especially when six months ago he was saying they were going to be delayed until they could be launched in a great state. One thing everyone appreciates about Phil Spencer is his straight talk and relatable, non-corporate demeanor.
